Privacy Policy
How professional identity, billing, research, community, and operational data are handled.
Information collected
We process professional account and profile details, organization and seat relationships, subscription references, member contributions, community discussion activity, accepted-contact messages, notification preferences, authentication and security events, and operational audit records.
Payment card data is collected by the hosted payment provider and is not stored by this application. The platform is not intended to collect protected health information or patient-identifying information.
How information is used
Information is used to authenticate members, provide paid access, administer organization seats, publish reviewed research, operate community features when enabled, deliver requested communications, prevent abuse, support members, reconcile billing, and maintain security and auditability.
Visibility and sharing
Community features are currently paused and their historical data is retained. When these features are available, members control whether their professional profile is visible to members, accepted contacts, or hidden. Private messaging requires an accepted contact request. Organization administrators receive identity, seat, and billing information plus limited login-status information; they do not receive searches, bookmarks, AI conversations, contacts, or message content.
Service providers receive only the information needed to host, authenticate, bill, send email, monitor, back up, or otherwise operate the platform under appropriate agreements. We do not sell private message content or member research activity.
Retention, security, and choices
Data is retained according to documented operational, contractual, legal, security, and research-preservation needs. AI Guide conversations are retained for 90 days unless a member deletes them sooner; short-lived authentication, throttling, and notification data are deleted on defined schedules. Account, billing, contribution, and audit records require a reviewed retention or anonymization decision.
Members may update profile visibility and notification choices in the product and may request access, correction, or deletion where applicable. Some records may be retained when necessary for billing, fraud prevention, legal obligations, research integrity, or immutable security audit history.
Questions, correction requests, and privacy requests may be sent through the support contact published by Healthcare AI Pioneers.
